Texas Longhorns Big & Tall Apparel | S–6XL, XLT–5XLT

Two stores sell Texas Longhorns big & tall apparel online — Fanatics and FansEdge — and they do not carry the same stock, run the same sales, or run out of the big sizes at the same speed. This page compares both for Longhorns clothing in men’s sizes S, M, L, XL, 2X (XXL), 3X (3XL), 4X (4XL), 5X (5XL) and 6X (6XL), tall sizes XLT (XT), 2XLT (2XT), 3XLT (3XT), 4XLT (4XT) and 5XLT (5XT), and women’s plus sizes 1X, 2X, 3X and 4X. The size links that have always been on this page are still here, checked and kept.

Below them you’ll find each store’s Longhorns team page, where that store shows its full current size range.

The Verdict: Longhorns Big & Tall at Fanatics and FansEdge

Checked October 31, 2026. Twenty-nine products separate the men’s catalogs — close enough that the sale calendar decides most purchases, with one structural edge to the leader:

  1. Fanatics 🏆
    Men’s Longhorns range: 1,784 products, plus 1,002 women’s
Tall sizes (XLT–5XLT): Listed in the filter (LT, 2XT, 3XT and up) — a thin slice, as everywhere
Best for: First stop — the bigger catalog, and a dedicated Longhorns big & tall department holding 29 products when checked
  2. FansEdge
    Men’s Longhorns range: 1,755 products, and 966 women’s
Tall sizes (XLT–5XLT): Listed too — though its filter starts at 2XT, with no LT shown when checked
Best for: Price-checking — its sale days are its own, and the gap is small enough that a promotion flips the winner most weeks

Why checking two stores saves real money

Each shop runs its own promotions on its own days. The hoodie that is full price at one store on Tuesday can be the sale item at the other on Wednesday, and the big sizes are usually the first thing a sale clears out.

So the routine that pays: find your team page below, open it at both stores, pay the lower price. Bookmark this page — the stores are lined up here side by side, which makes the comparison a thirty-second job instead of six open tabs and a headache.

Longhorns Sizes, Translated

Stores write the same sizes different ways. Here is the whole run, spelled out:

Regular

  • S, M, L, XL — written the same everywhere
  • XXL = 2X = 2XL = 2XB
  • 3XL = 3X = 3XB
  • 4XL = 4X = 4XB
  • 5XL = 5X = 5XB
  • 6XL = 6X = 6XB

Tall

  • XLT = XT = LT
  • 2XLT = 2XT
  • 3XLT = 3XT
  • 4XLT = 4XT
  • 5XLT = 5XT

A tall size is not a bigger size — it is the same width with length added through the body and sleeves. If shirts that fit your chest still stop above your belt, you do not need a wider shirt, you need a tall one. On each store’s team page, the sizes are listed in that store’s own spelling; now you can read both dialects.

Shop Longhorns by Size

These are the size links this page has always carried, at Fanatics. Each one opens the men’s or women’s Longhorns department already filtered to that size.

Both Stores’ Longhorns Team Pages

Everything current — this season’s tees, hoodies, jerseys and jackets — lives on each store’s Longhorns team page, where the full size range for that store is shown in one place. These are the pages to work through the verdict with: open your size at one store, then glance at the same thing on the other team page before you pay anyone.

Bevo, Burnt Orange, and a Hand Sign Older Than Most Fans

Bevo is a live longhorn steer with his own handlers, his own trailer, and a sideline spot at every home game — mascots do not get more Texas than a fourteen-hundred-pound steer. The “Hook ’em Horns” sign dates to 1955, and the burnt orange is a protected shade: close does not count, and Texas fans can spot a too-red or too-brown imitation across a parking lot.

The Red River game against Oklahoma fills the Cotton Bowl every October, split straight down the middle — burnt orange on one side, crimson on the other, the State Fair of Texas going on around the stadium. And the modern high point is still the 2006 Rose Bowl, when Vince Young ran for the corner of the end zone on fourth down to beat USC for the national title — a play every Longhorns fan can describe frame by frame.

Questions Longhorns Shoppers Ask

Which store should I start with for Texas gear?

Fanatics, narrowly — 1,784 men’s products against 1,755, plus the dedicated big & tall department. But with a gap that small, FansEdge’s sale weeks flip the answer regularly, which is why both team pages are listed above.

I need an LT, not a 2XT. Where do I look?

Fanatics. When we checked, its Longhorns filter listed LT alongside the 2XT–5XT range, while FansEdge’s tall listing started at 2XT. Tall stock is thin at both, so if your size shows in either, that is the day to buy it.

Can I get a Longhorns jersey in 5X or 6X?

Jerseys are the thin spot — most styles stop at 2X or 3X. In 5X and 6X the realistic game-day buys are tees, hoodies and jackets from the runs above; they restock with each season’s drop.
